Celebrating the life and accomplishments of Arthur (Art) L. Ney, MD. 1951-2024
Before retiring from Hennepin Healthcare in 2017, Dr. Ney served as the Trauma Director for over 25 years and was one of the most beloved and busiest surgeons at Hennepin Healthcare. He was a trailblazer whose dedication ensures Hennepin Healthcare can provide the highest level of trauma care. In recognition of his vast contributions, an endowment will be established and named for Dr. Ney.
A meaningful and permanent form of philanthropy, an endowed chair reflects one of the most significant honors in academic hospitals. The Arthur L. Ney Endowed Chair for Trauma will invest in the program’s four pillars of excellence: critical care, research, training and education, and innovation.
