Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is an area of medicine that helps people improve their overall function and maximize independence after an illness, accident or other medical condition.

Our providers prescribe rehabilitation services for inpatients and outpatients with brain or spinal cord injury, strokes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, arthritis, burns, amputations, orthopedic problems, and other conditions of the musculoskeletal system associated with pain and disability. Patients requiring intensive inpatient rehabilitation services are cared for at the Miland E. Knapp Rehabilitation Center.
